The history of this first Gothic construction in Prague dates back to the 13th century, when it was built as part of the St. Agnes monastery. The two buildings and summer garden are historical landmarks. It remained part of the St. Agnes monastery until the 16th century. In the 17th century it was renamed ‘Casa Marcello’ after its owner, a member of an important Italian aristocratic family.
